The biggest change is going from wu-ftpd to vsftpd as the default ftp daemon with RH. I must say that I have yet to pull off configuring vsftpd to my liking, and am rather frustrated by that fact as I'd like to take advantage of it's purpurted security/performance improvements.
Apologies for having nothing more than related commentary to offer. Good luck, and please share any successes you have. :) Stuart > -----Original Message----- > From: Sue Champigny [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 06/24/2003 9:47 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: ftp/vsftp ?? any of them > > > My users want the ability to be able to ftp in any directory, > not just their home directories.
