I concur. I installed Yellow Dog Linux 3.0 (a portage of RHL to ppc) on my old Imac and configured X11. Since it installs KDE as the default environment, it ran really slowly so I downloaded and installed fvwm and fvwm-themes, set them up and chose the MacOS theme.
