I reported the same problem to redhat, but they said it wasn't an
installation problem. So much for tech support...

What you can do is go to adobe's web site at:
http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html
and download the acrobat reader (for free). There are instructions in the
file that once you have it un-tared will tell you how to install it.
