Hi all, I applied a host of patches from red-carpet recently to my base 7.3 installation. Since doing so, updatedb blows up every time with "broken pipe". From looking at the behaviour - it runs for a long time and the HDD reads furiously and the CPU does a bit of work too; so I think its when it gets to the end and starts building its index or whatever that's its blowing up. Unfortunately that's about all I know - does anyone have any suggestions please?
