Hi. I am trying to set up MtSql on my Redhat 4.2 system. I have installed all the rpms for mysql and xmysql. When I use mysql from the command line (type "mysql") everything works fine. The problem is when I try to use the X frontend(xmysql) I get a cannot connect error. I am using "localhost" as the server. Do I need to modify one of the "/etc" files to allow the port to be active?
