The software the Mac has will determine whether they can read the 
image (sorry I don't know framemaker). As for the disk itself - Macs 
can read PC formatted disks but not vice versa, so data transfer is 
ok in that direction.

There is one problem lurking in the back of my mind which hopefully 
someone else can throw more light on for you - I think Mac tiffs and 
perhaps other images contain an extra control D character at the end 
so for example a tiff saved in mac format may not necessarily be 
readable from a pc. Depending on the mac software this may be a 
problem the other way round too.

I think most software takes account of this anyhow so it probably 
isn't a problem.
