If you installed the OnTrak BIOS Overlay, you might be snagged...
I have not used the DDO in years...  but never had any luck with it - it
likes to REALLY conofuse Linux (or Linux confuses it, either way)

If that is the case, (experts feel free to interject) I would be looking
at a fresh install of everything, WITHOUT the DDO...

Take that BIOS overlay out - chances are good your motherboard supports
the 120 gig drive natively without the DDO so...  it's not needed and a
waste of resources and what not..
