I'm looking into how to take old VHS videos and putting them on DVDs. These are my assumptions:
I need a video capture card for capturing the movies. I need to convert them to DVD video Burn them to DVDs I have an AverTV USB capture device. It probably won't work on Linux. Can anyone recommend one? Let's say I get a capture device that works, what software on Linux do people recommend for capturing? This would be a good start, so I'll leave it at that.
