I'm operating in a
NIS/NFS environment. I don't think that matters though. I can login
as root, which is a local account. I can log in as myself, which is an
NIS/NFS account. I can't login as one of my users.
It accepts his
username/password and begins to login to gnome, then it hangs and finally it
drops him back out to the login window. Failsafe mode works
fine.
I removed his .gnome
directory thinking that something had been corrupted there, but no dice..
It recreated it but acted the same way as before.
Oh, I'm running
Redhat 7.2 and whatever version of gnome came with it...
Any
idears?
Thanks in
advance,
Mike
