The easiest way to perform that is to try "setup" in a terminal and then choose "mouse
configuration"

Objet : newby mouse problem

Using garden variety Microsoft PS/2 mouse. We had generic 2-button ps/2
mouse selected during setup, which worked fine after install (although
short travel/movement). Upon changing hardware setting to appropriate
Microsoft mouse, mouse first improved travel performance, then began
acting flaky. Wants to return to bottom left of screen almost
immediately when trying to navigate. This is a totally non-functional
situation for me.

How can I fix this. Would it help to return to generic 2-button ps/2
mouse? And how can we do that without using mouse.

Dan
