i'm not sure what you're trying to do here. if you get a red hat SRPM, it *already* has the red hat patches incorporated in it, so just build it like a regular SRPM. or you can get a stock, pristine kernel from www.kernel.org, and *then* you can download patches from the same place on top of that. it's not clear precisely what you're after here. rday -- Robert P.
