I've had no luck loading RH on any of my servers with running Adaptec
29160. Install starts to load the driver aic 7xxx, then immediately
reboots.
What is the hardware involved? What is going wrong with the installation? (Check the debugging screens on ctl-alt-F3, ctl-alt-F4, ctl-alt-F5.)
Any suggestions?Try a driver's disk from Justin. If that doesn't work send a detail bug report to Justin Gibbs. He's adaptec's linux/bsd driver maintainer.

Also try using the expert mode, and see if there is a aic7xxx_old to try.
