I use these drivers with a WUSB11 v2.6 USB adapter on RH9 with no
problems. I'm not sure if the WUSB12 model is supported in the stable
release. Maybe you can try a CVS snapshot. There are also mailing lists
here: http://atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net/links.html. They are
probably the best places to go for help.
