I'm running RH8 beta 1 (yes, I know I should upgrade to a real release) and having problems with netatalk. File sharing works fine, but printer sharing isn't. I've shared an SMB printer using the following line in papd.conf:
bigblue:pr=bigblue However, when a Mac tries to print to it, I get a "Postscript error" on the mac side and the following in /var/log/messages: May 29 09:07:12 NMWSERVER papd[12618]: child 12695 for "bigblue" from 65514.219 May 29 09:07:12 NMWSERVER papd[12695]: read_ppd .ppd: No such file or directory May 29 09:07:12 NMWSERVER papd[12695]: lp_init: lock: No such file or directory May 29 09:07:12 NMWSERVER papd[12695]: lp_open failed May 29 09:07:13 NMWSERVER papd[12618]: child 12695 done Thanks for any help.
