Thanks for the response. I cant believe this would not have even been mentioned in any of the FAQ's or installation guides. Is this something that RedHat recently stopped compiling into their own blessed kernels? I am not keen on downloading the entire source RPM for the latest kernel over my tiny pipe just to find out that its not the problem. Can anyone confirm that USB modem support is in fact no longer compiled or modularized into the latest official Redhat 9 kernel's?
