We are having intermittant problems with some new Redhat 8 servers, whereby an SSH connection (as root), is hanging for 10-30 seconds before connecting.
There are 9 servers, one of which is a NIS master server, with the other 8 as NIS slave servers. They are all set to ypbind to themselves. Client machines are currently set to broadcast to determine which server to ypbind to. The connection problem affects all these servers, including the NIS master, and is very intermittant. Any ideas?
