Hi,

can anyone tell me if its possible to change the permissions on a samba
share?
I've set up the share as root to connect to a windows 2000 machine. However,
I need to have a non-root user writing/creating files in the new share. When
I try to change the permissions, I am told that the operation is not
permitted.

>From the windows side, the non-root user has full control over the
directory.

Thanks
Lisa
