Scott,

I'm pretty sure you have to pay for a subscription to get the upgraded service.
I think it is $60/year for two systems. It's really not that bad because that
gives you all the updgrades as well.

The reason you are getting that message is that 9.0 was just made available
today and unless you have the upgraded service you will most likely not be able
to connect while the subscribers are frantically downloading 9.0.
