Name resolution

Hi -   I have tried posting this issue on a mailman and sendmail board but have not received a fix for it yet.   Here is what I have:   RH8.0 with Sendmail and Mailman 2.0 - This server is inside my network and is resolved to a subdomain like lists.domain.com   Here is my problem - I can send mail to the lists from any external mail account - Ex. Hotmail - When I send from an external account the post is getting delivered to everyone except for users on my internal domain (domain.com)   Also if I send a message to the list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) from anyone with an account on just domain.com - the mail does not get forwarded out of the list server.   In my maillog I have some errors which shows the list server trying to resolved domain.com with it's external MX records. The request is timing out.   I have added entries on the RH box in etc/hosts for the (internal IP and Name) of the internal machine handling our domain.com email.   I have also added an internal DNS server to the first line of the resolv.conf file and rebooted the box for good measure.   I am still unable to send outbound mail from my domain.com through the lists.domain.com server nor am I able to receive anything coming in on that box.   You're help is appreciated..   John
