Given the linux orientation of this list, I'll suggest smoothwall GPL at www.smoothwall.org. You'll have to manually install the ipchains module for ipsec after you install it. Since this is for your company, smoothwall gives you some features that allow site-to-site VPN without much configuration hassle.
If she is buying it and you want to do very little support on this, choose one that matches your network vendor of your VPN appliance: If you use Choose Cisco linksys (recently purchased by cisco) 3com 3com nokia nokia etc. keeping your home users on the same platform as your corporate network will *generally* lower support issues.
