I am looking for a good, cheap gig ethernet card that will work with linux. A look at pricewatch found dozens cards ranging in price from $39 to over a grand. It will be used in a linux terminal server so performance is importand, but I do not want to pay for more then I need. Thanks.
I've found that the Intel PRO/1000 T desktop adapters work just fine, and are 32-bit PCI to boot, though supports 33mhz and 66mhz for future. $39 on pricegrabber.
