If you bought since May 1 ( I think that's right ) there is a discounted
upgrade being offered.  I saw it on one of the Linux web pages... maybe
linuxmall... not sure.  Plus, most places on the web sell the official
Red Hat package for about $30.

Not true. VFAT is in the 2.0.31 kernel with RH5.0.  If you want FAT32
you need to upgrade to kernel 2.0.34.  That's what I did and with the
"make xconfig" option, there's lots of help for choosing kernel options.
After upgrading the kernel, FAT32 will be recognized with the vfat
option in /etc/fstab.
