Hi all, I have just installed 5.0 on my 486. All was going fine until I rebooted the other day. Now things are going from bad to worse. First, my network card was not being found but I fixed it. Now the SAMBA, diald and print (lpd) demons are not working. They are up, but they do not do anything. ARRGGGGH Any useful suggestions will be appreciated. Also, I have a weird video card and X does not work (surprise surprise). When X starts it comes up in this funky mode. The mouse pointer covers 1/4 the screen and each X pixel is about 10x20 on my screen. Any ideas? Also, easy question: Where are the X Motif libs?
