RH 8.0 Power/Battery meter

I have upgraded my laptop from RH 7.2 to RH 8.0 via a format then a new installation.  RH 7.2 had under preferences the ability to show how much
battery life was left in my laptop (whether it was charging or being used).  I
can not find this feature in RH 8.0.  Does anyone know where I can find this
feature?  During the installation, I choose the
laptop installation option.  Can anyone offer any ideas.  Thanks
