Eddie, It sounds like you might be better served making a trip down to one of the book stores and picking up a book on running Red Hat Linux. You are going to have a lot of questions that you will find answers for without sending thousands of emails to ask very basic questions. The questions that are more difficult and you can't find anything in your references can be directed to the list. (when I say thousands of e-mails I mean that you send one question to the list and the list sends out thousands of copies, one to each member of the list) I don't mean to say you can't ask a simple question from time to time, just that from your question you posed, I think you will have a lot more. Such as what is samba? Where do you get it, how do you configure it? How do I set up a "subnet"? What is iptables? How do I configure it? How do I give IP addresses to each network card on the RedHat box? How do I browse the network? ...
Don't be discouraged, a good reference book will breeze through these questions and more. Larry S. Brown Dimension Networks, Inc. (727) 723-8388 -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
