No, that is 'mail', an MUA which is separate from 'sendmail' (an MTA). I
do not recommend using 'mail' as your MUA. It works, but there are easier
MUAs available.

I recommend pine, mutt, or elm if you're using a console.  Pine is the
easiest to learn, elm is the most lightweight, and mutt is the most
flexible and powerful.

If you prefer a GUI, I recommend Mozilla, KMail, or Evolution.

You Linux box will have to have a DNS entry that can be found by Yahoo's
mail servers. Does your machine have a DNS record at your ISP or some
other publicly available nameserver?
