4.2 gig with say 4 - 900 meg partitions mounted on / /var /usr /home and
the rest for a swap drive. Would last you for years and still give you the
chance to add in a bigger drive under one of those mount points if a
partition fills up.
Get yourself a DAT tape drive aswell. A 'big' one.
