looks likes a snip from a kernel oops. An oops is a very bad event, your lucky the machine isn't crashed(yet).
running 'dmesg' should show the whole thing, or look at the messages log with something else like more or less or cat, or use tail -n 500 to see the last 500 lines

fortunately for me this isn't a production machine :) ... this is just one of my test box. i did run dmesg and above recommendation and here's more snip from the log...
Mar 18 17:47:41 02 kernel: 15: @c9d8e5c0 length 8000004e status 0001004e
Mar 18 17:47:41 02 kernel: eth0: Transmit error, Tx status register 82.
Mar 18 17:47:41 02 kernel: Probably a duplex mismatch. See Documentation/networking/vortex.txt
Mar 18 17:47:41 02 kernel: Flags; bus-master 1, dirty 3722132(4) current 3722132(4)
btw, "02" is the server name. this seems to come from the eth0 interface, i know this is kernel message, but haven't figured out what it means yet. any insight would be great. if i need to rebuild the machine it's not a problem, since it's not hold any critial information.
