I just ran up2date last night and installed the following new versions
of existing packages:

  kernel-2.4.18-27.8.0
  kernel-source-2.4.18-27.8.0
  lokkit-0.50-21.8.0
  samba-2.2.7-4.8.0
  samba-client-2.2.7-4.8.0
  samba-common-2.2.7-4.8.0

Since the update and reboot, I find that I can no longer use
shift-insert to paste text from one xterm to another. Instead, I have
to use the pseudo middle-mouse button by clicking mouse buttons 1 and
3 simultaneously; it works, but it's a pain.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I'd prefer to stay with the
current versions of the above rpms. What can I do to regain my beloved
shift-insert?

Cheers,

Paul
