FWIW, if you're just installing it to see what it's like, I'd put it on the P3. That's plenty of power to get a feel for it. (I'm still happy with my Athlon 750 with 384MB for everyday work.) The video should be supported out of the box, but to get full 3D acceleration you'll need the drivers from nvidia. Those are a bit of a pain, but once they're installed they seem to work very well, at least on my GeForce2.
