Maybe your system is not completely locked and you can still open another
login session with CTRL-ALT-F1...7. And then find the locked process with
"ps -eaf" and "kill"?


   Every couple of days, my RH8 system locks up.  I used to think it was
   the
   GNOME screensaver, so I disabled that, but last night it locked up
   again.
   Could it be my graphics driver (i845 driver i downloaded from Intel)?

   Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
