Stick with Office2k if you have the option. Evolution is a fairly good mail/PIM solution, especially since you control the server and can enable the standard services (IMAP, LDAP).


Definitely experiment with OpenOffice and StarOffice. I've found that OpenOffice is very good, but it really depends on the kinds of documents you have to deal with.
