I am running RedHat 7.2 using NIS yp maps to access nfs filesystems on other servers for home and application directories. In my nsswitch.conf my automount is set as: automount: files nis Everything worked fine. I then added a local automount so I could access local applications in the same manner as remote nfs filestems. I created a auto.apps with the following entries: oracle -rw,suid,hard,intr $HOST:/zeRDBMS/app/oracle/product
Now the local automount works but now my remote automounts to /apps do not. What am I forgetting?
