Hi all,
I have managed to install the module for my ZIP drive by doing modprobe
ppa. Thanks for all the help on that.
If I create a /mnt/zip directory I can mount my ZIp with mount -t msdos
/dev/sda4 /mnt/zip,

So I thought I would put this in the /etc/fstab file, but when I rebooted,
I had no ppa module loaded and my /mnt/zip was reemoved along with the
line in the fstab.

What do I need to do in fstab to automount my zip disk, and what do I need
to do to get insmod ppa to run at boot up?

How do I get a pretty Icon on the gnome desktop that shows when the disk
is mounted and when it is not?

I also want to format disks in msdos and in ext2/3 format, what do I need
to do in fstab to be able to autodetect the format?

Regards,
John.
