I didn't mean that, I wanted some easy-to-use GUI tools that do directory tree level diffs
and we should be able to merge between files open with difference selectively.
like the ones available for windows like Araxis-Merge etc.
tkcvs and tkdiff are good but cant show directory level diffs and merging/editing is difficult.

Diff and patch?  Been in use for probably 20 years or so.  CVS will
allow revision tracking and merging between branches as well.
