This is a most irritating problem...any time I get an error message such as the cgi file does not exist or if the file does exist the output of the .pl or .cgi is created and offered as a download rather than displaying it. I can't believe the default settings gives this result but I can't figure out what search parameter to use on the maillist archives to find the fix either.
