I know this has probably been asked about before, but how do I get my
Trident 3DImage 975 4MB to work with XFree86 3.3.2? I can get 640x480,
but I need a better resolution - at least 1024x768. I had acheived
1024x768 once, but when I booted up linux the next day (I have a dual
boot with win95) X started up in 640x480 and that was the only mode I
had. I went through the setup process again the exact same way I did
before and still was only able to get 640x480. I am using the
"no_program_clocks" line and using XF86Setup to make my config file. I
am using a Mag Innovision DX17F as a monitor. Sometimes when I make a
config, it will find a 1024x768 mode, but not sync for a second and then
go blank. Other times it will just not find a mode and exit. I am
running a Pentium 55c at 225 Mhz with 32 megs EDO ram. Thanks in
advance.
