There clearly is a bug with NT. It also hung a WIn95 system thathad the
Win98 patches. It did NOT hang a Win98 beta machine.
Total machines crashed to date - 8, most NT 4.0 SP 3.
I tried another disk (with just Linux kernels) but it did not
crash NT. The original disk contained proprietary info, hence
can't be released (I wish I could give MS a copy to fix the problem).
If we can reproduce it with just freeware, we'll forward it to MS.
Would a dump of the blue screen help?
Anyone else had a similar experience?
