Pretty much normal. Chances are your registered just after you installed the system and hadn't made any changes to the /etc/hosts file such that localhost.localdomain was set to 127.0.0.1. Why bother to change it? It doesn't do anything for you to have it set "correctly".....AFAIK. > ps. I thank you for all your help.
