Not true. I'm running RedHat 7.3, mailman and postfix. In fact the mailman website recommends postfix over sendmail. On my server /usr/bin/newaliases is a symlink to "/usr/bin/newalias" which is in turn a symlink to "/usr/bin/newaliases.postfix". You should be able to create the necessary symlinks manually. > Postfix isn't a redhat product, hence they don't always have the latest stuff > in their RPMS's. Technically speaking, sendmail isn't a redhat "product" either, they just package it for their distribution. There's a postfix RPM on my 8.0 CDs so hopefully RedHat will continue to include it in their distribution. No argument that postfix has a limited share of the MTA market, but I think use of it is growing and after all Linux is about freedom of choice (among other things). > They don't have RPM's there. There are RPM's maintained by Simon J Mudd at http://www.pobox.com/~sjmudd and a search on www.rpmfind.net turns up other options.
