I got one that is even more confusing. RH 8.0, man man (for example), underlines and hypens are fine. Use Gnome-terminal to ssh to RH 7.1 system. Do a man man during that session. The underlines are fine, but the end-of-line hypens display as question marks. Now where do I look?
