I have already done this without any dramas. Go to mozilla's web site, download the RPM's for v1.3b, then once you have all the RPM's, upgrade your system with the command:
rpm -Uvh mozilla-*rpm and it'll go and do it. Make sure you download the actual RH8.0 RPM's found at: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.3b/Red_Hat_8x_RPMS/ I used the gtk ones. Any troubles let us know.
