Hi linux Gurus,
Here I am having a strange problem with Linux 7.3.
In the past 6 days , my server halted with the following error message:

cidata02 kernel: Assertion failure in journal_write_metadata_buffer() a
t journal.c:406: "buffer_jdirty(jh2bh(jh_in))"

It was not responding on even the console prompt.
The message on the console was :
Kernel Panic:Aiee, killing interrupt handler !
In interrupt handler not syncing
call tra...[<<102130b] bh_action[kernel].........

WE had to hard reboot the server.
WE are also running Oracle on the server.

Is it to do something with the ext3 File system of Redhat linux ?
Do we have any patch for the same ? Is it related to Oracle in any way ?
WE have also mounted a SAN device (dell SAN EMC cx200) on the server.
Is it related to this ...?

Thanks and Regds,
RCP
