Hi, I'm using RH Linux 6.2 kernel 2.4.16. Today I was running out of disk space and went to the /var/log directory and then deleted the "querylog" after stopping the "named". After that my server started becoming very slow and password authentication is taking a lot of time. Then I tried restarting BIND and it never started. I've restarted the server and every process is taking about 5 minutes and the complete boot process is about 30 mins. All the disks seem to be alright. I've no idea what is happening on the server. I'd appreciate if any of you gurus can help me with this issue.I'd appreciate if you let me know if I need to furnish any further information too.
