I am trying to get root-tail to work with my RH8 installation, but it will not display when running nautilus. I seem to remember a thread a while back about xsnow and a couple of other applications that write to the root x window not working since Nautilus draws the desktop over the top of the root window. Does anyone know how to make root-tail work correctly when nautilus is drawing the desktop or if there is a replacement?
