Monitoring Bind 9

Does anyone know a really good way to monitor bind, like requests processed a second etc so that I can see how much load my system is under. I would prefer an MRTG type application...I am currently writing perl apps using information from TCPDUMP, but I hate to re-invent the wheel.    Thanks, Jason Riedel
