Hahahahahhah. You guys are great !!!
It was a typo, not a email gimmick, I was a referring to a hard lesson I had back in college on Constitutional Law (minored) There is 180* difference in a democracy and a republic. To call something a Democratic Republic is useless. It is impossible. A democracy (also know as the sister of socialism) is mob of people standing outside chanting and rioting until they get their way. Jesus Christ was crucified by a democracy, for obvious reason, why do you returned to that particular township, and not a Republic. A republic is governed strictly by laws. ...and to the Republic for which it stands... yes the united States of these Americas are formed under a governing law, the constitution of the United States of America. A democratic vote is authoritative under a republic unless the the governing law gives it precedence. That is why the USA is unique by its form of government, it is a pre written *law*. No one man, organization, or body can change it without scrutiny, and then it is only changed by means of an amendment. The base cannot be altered. Even your last Presidential election is a prime example of this process, yes we all voted, but the fact is the *appointed* electoral can choose anyone they want. Your vote carry the opinions of the people not the electoral. (the electoral process can be debated forever, but for now that is the way it is) So you see a DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC is impossible. You can not have a *law* controlled by the whims of a mob, if a mob decided everything then nothing would have a defined nature it only be a temporary way of doing something, and not a Law. I say temporary because the mob would soon want to do something else and change it again later, or erase it. Go ahead flame away :-) But it will not change anything. That is simply the way things are set. (and for you antigovernment out there), there is *no* opinion in what I just wrote. It *is* fact. No interpretation. So ask yourself who is the real anti-government. The people trying to hold on to the constitution, or the Bill Clintons who circumvent its authority for personal gain. Or the media who bleeds socialist biasness? Or the union who wants the government ot do everythin for them? Or the Democratics who wants everyone money so they redistribute it the way they see fit? Or the Republicans who want full control of all big business so they can control the economy? Hmmmmmmm, I better go remove my mailbox now :-) I better hurry and send this, I think I see the Waco Commandos comming down the street. :-( Leonard Miller wrote: > > It was a trick to get us to reply so he could add us to a spam list. > Now we'll start getting e-mails from a guy in South Nowhere > asking for business investments of $1.000,000,000.00 > Or e-mails asking us to help the two naked twins that are looking > for a foster home. > > >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 02/19/03 04:04AM >>> > No, I don't think it's that clear at all. > > You see if Mr. Canary's main motivation was to highlight spelling > mistakes, > surely he should have managed to spell "dosen't" don't you think? > > My gut tells me the post had some very deep and mysterious subtext we > all > missed... > > -- > redhat-list mailing list > unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe > https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
