It strikes me as a little strange that the NIC would have a conflict with
the SCSI card. The Adaptec 2940 doesn't use hard resource settings, it
takes an IRQ that isn't in use.
Still.. if you continue to have problems, I suppose I could pop my 3C509B
back in, and see if it gets along with my (now lamented) 2940U.
