Hello, Anyone out there with experience with CIPE?
Whenever I try testing the tunnel by pinging a machine on the other LAN the NIC stops responding. When I unplug the cat5 cable and plug it back in the NIC jumps back to life. The NIC only stops whenever I try to send data over the tunnel, and never drops out at any other time.. Using different NICs from various manufactures doesn't correct the problem nor does changing the cable. It appears to be CIPE specific. CIPE.d is running. Below is the config file; <snip> # Please read /usr/share/doc/initscripts-*/sysconfig.txt # for the documentaTion of these parameters. debug USERCTL=yes DEVICE=cipcb0 TYPE=CIPE ONBOOT=yes MYPORT=7778 PEER=192.168.0.1:7777 IPADDR=192.168.4.11 PTPADDR=192.168.4.10 me=192.168.0.2 nokey <snip> Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
