Hello,
I have just done a new install of RH* for the very 1st time. However, when I try to "redhat-configure-Xfree86" to work with my monitor. I get the following message:
Couldn't start X Server
ddcprobe returned bogus values
ID: OEC15db
Name: none
etc etc
And if I try again I get a "DeprecationWarning" and get taken back to the text prompt. Is this a problem with RH8 or my monitor ( I am running Win2K on another partition for a while and it has never given me any problems with the monitor.
What can I do?
